Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text a website stores in your browser. Some remember who you are between page loads; others track your activity for analytics or advertising. This policy explains exactly which kind Tuchati uses, and which ones need your consent first.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These five cookies are strictly necessary — the site cannot function without them for the person they apply to (staying signed in, or finding your way back to a request you just paid for). Under EU and Spanish law (the ePrivacy rules implemented locally through the LSSI-CE), cookies in this category are exempt from requiring your consent before they're set — they exist to provide a service you've directly asked for, not to track or advertise to you.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| tuchati_member_session | Keeps you signed in to your Tuchati Plus member account. | Up to 7 days, or until you sign out |
| tuchati_member_refresh | Silently renews your member session so you aren't signed out while still active. | Up to 7 days, or until you sign out |
| tuchati_advisor_session | Keeps a Tuchati team member signed in to the internal Advisor console. Never set on the public website. | Up to 7 days, or until sign out |
| tuchati_advisor_refresh | Silently renews an Advisor session. Never set on the public website. | Up to 7 days, or until sign out |
| tuchati_request_access | For One Request customers only: remembers your request so you can return to it without re-opening the email link, for the rest of your browser session. | Cleared when you close your browser |
All five are set with the HttpOnly and Secure flags, meaning they can never be read by page scripts and are only ever sent over an encrypted connection.
3. Analytics cookies — only with your consent
Tuchati uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. These cookies are not strictly necessary, so — unlike the ones above — we only set them if you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, or don't respond, neither cookie is ever set and no analytics script loads at all.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors, so we can see how many people use Tuchati and how. | 2 years |
| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics — remembers your session state (e.g. whether you're a new or returning visitor). | 2 years |
Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area; where it does, Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as the safeguard for that transfer. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we work with Google Analytics.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer — it clears your previous choice and shows the consent banner again, so you can accept or decline afresh.
5. Controlling cookies yourself
You can also block or delete any cookie at any time through your browser's settings. Since the strictly necessary cookies above are required for signing in or reaching your own request, blocking them will sign you out or prevent those specific features from working — the rest of the site, including the Help Centre and the Assistant, remains fully usable either way.
6. Related policies
For how we handle the personal information collected through your account, requests, and analytics, see our Privacy Policy.
